With the magic of AI and a whole lot of heart, we created an app that crafts unique, personalized adventures. No two stories are ever the same, because every child's story should be as unique as they are.

• Voice Data: For voice cloning, we collect short audio recordings (e.g., 30-60 seconds) with your explicit consent. This is used to create a secure voice model for narration within the App.
• User-Generated Content: Stories you create, including themes, ages, and custom text.
• Device and Usage Data: Automatically collected data like device type, IP address, app usage, and location (approximate, for analytics).
• Children's Data: If the Service is used for children under 13, we collect only minimal data with verifiable parental consent under COPPA.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the Service (e.g., generating stories, cloning voices, personalizing recommendations).
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• For security and fraud prevention.
• To communicate with you (e.g., support, updates).
• For analytics and research (anonymized data only).

• Voice recordings are encrypted and stored securely. You can delete them at any time via app settings.
• However, no system is 100% secure—we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Your Rights and Choices

• Access, update, or delete your data via app settings or by contacting us.
• Opt out of marketing emails.
• For voice cloning: Consent is required and can be revoked—deleting a voice model removes it permanently.
• GDPR Rights (EU Users): You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing, object, data portability, and withdraw consent.
• CCPA/CPRA Rights (California Residents): You have the right to know what personal information we collect, delete your data, correct inaccurate data, and opt out of sales/sharing.
• COPPA Rights: Parents can review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's data.

6. Data Retention

• We retain data as long as needed for the Service (e.g., active accounts). Inactive accounts may be deleted after 2 years.
• Voice data is deleted upon request or account closure.
• We honor deletion requests promptly under applicable laws.

The Service is intended for parents, guardians, and family members creating content for children. You represent that you are using the Service responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws, including child protection laws like COPPA in the US, GDPR in the EU, and CCPA/CPRA in California.

2. Account Registration and Security

To access certain features (e.g., voice cloning or saving stories), you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.

You are responsible for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access.

3. Use of the Service

Permitted Use: You may use the Service to create, customize, and listen to age-appropriate stories for children. Features include selecting themes, ages (e.g., 0-2, 3-5, 6-8), voices, and cloning voices with explicit consent.

Voice Cloning: Voice cloning requires recording a short audio sample (e.g., 30-60 seconds). You must obtain explicit consent from the person whose voice is being cloned. Cloned voices are for personal, non-commercial use only within the App.

Prohibited Use: You may not use the Service for illegal purposes, harassment, or harm to others; upload or create content that is obscene, violent, discriminatory, or inappropriate for children; reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the Service; use automated tools to access or scrape the Service; or share, sell, or distribute cloned voices or stories without permission.

4. User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you create (e.g., custom stories or voice recordings). By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe on third-party rights (e.g., copyrights). We may remove content that violates these Terms.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including logos, designs, text, and software, is owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute it without permission.

"HuggleTales" (StoryBook Kids) and associated trademarks are our property.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

The Service offers free features (e.g., limited stories) and paid subscriptions (e.g., unlimited stories, premium voices). Pricing is detailed in the App.

Payments are processed via third-party providers (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play). You agree to their terms.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled. Refunds are subject to our policy and app store rules—no refunds for partial periods.

7. Privacy

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. We comply with GDPR for EU users, COPPA for children under 13 in the US, and CCPA/CPRA for California residents.

8. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties. We do not guarantee accuracy, availability, or error-free operation.

We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

Voice cloning is AI-generated and may not perfectly replicate the original voice. We are not responsible for any misuse of cloned voices.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may terminate your access for any reason, including violations.

Upon termination, your account and data may be deleted, subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email.
